New. Freaking. Moon.
So, I suppose that I should totally blog about my New Moon adventures. I did some really crazy and fun stuff in the past week and a half! So, there was going to be a signing at the Toys R Us in NYC on the day of the NM premiere by Kellan (Emmett) and Nikki (Rosalie). I didn't think that I had a chance in hell of getting tickets so I never really considered going. Except that there *were* tickets left. Lots of them. And Rob was going to be in the city that day, too. So, guess where my ass was?!?! Yep.
I got up at 1:15 am on Thursday morning the 19th to begin my adventure. However, I didn't really sleep, because the previous day, the 18th, I worked from 12-9. I got home and tried to sleep but pretty much failed. Woot for adrenaline! So, left my house around 3 for the Princeton Junction train station. Talked to the hubs the whole way, bless him, and then got on a train to the city. Got into the city about 6:45 then caught a train up to Rockefellar Plaza and met up with my Twitter girls. Yep. I'm addicted to Twitter. If you care/have one/ect, feel free to follow me, I'm @Quartzlyn. I tweet A LOT! And I swear and talk about anything and everything. But yeah. I digress.
So, we were at Today, boring boring boring, and then...ROB! Rob comes out. GUH! Ugh. He went to the other side of the crowd and not to us. Epic fail. Oh well. So, we headed to Regis and Kelly, to try again. We get there and the barriers suck. We know Rob won't come out of his car for us there. Fail. Fail fail fail. :( Taylor did come out, we didn't even know he was going to be there, bless his heart, he knew he would get swarmed but he didn't care. Love that kid! Unfortunately, because of aforementioned swarm, I didn't get pix or autos. Well. I have a pic of the top of his head. Oh well. I was nearer to him than most people right? That's what I'm telling myself.
From there, we went over to Burger King in Times Square to get some food. Then to Toys R Us to wait. And wait. And wait, and get wet in the rain, and guess what? You are soo smart...more waiting.
At like 4:30, 30 mins after it was supposed to happen, we are finally getting to 'meet' Kellan and Nikki. Yeah, right. It was like a speedby. Ugh. I said Hi To Kellan and he said either 'yours is over there' or 'yours is over there sweetie' about my signed poster. I'm not sure which he said. I'm thinking my brain might have added the sweetie to preserve my love for him?! Who knows. Nikki was freaking gorgeous. And Kellan? In PERSON??? Ungh. Hotter than I thought possible. But whatever, said 'Love you guys' and was pushed away from the table by the TRU peeps. Another Epic Fail. :(
The best thing about the day were the fabulous ladies that I spent the day with. We had a blast being totally silly and miserable at times and just having as much fun as we possibly could considering the circumstances :)
And then? Back to PA for my midnight viewing of NM with my buds. I wasn't even excited for it at that point. I was exhausted, disappointed and just sad. However, New Moon did not disappoint me! I loved it. SOOO MUCH love! Really. Truely. Perfection for me. Soo much better than Twilight. And yeah. The abs. So many abs. Yes. I'm ok with the gratuitous showing of the male body in that movie. It's wonderful, actually :P
And now, I've seen New Moon for the 4th time. It's still great, but tonight, I sorely missed Robward :( So, this will probably be my last time in the theater. But still. Love it :)
And yes. Those are the adventures of my New Moonage :P I'm planning on having better luck with Eclipse. *nods*
