"I just saved a bunch of money..."
Back when the Dragon & I got married, there were a set of commercials out where people went around telling complete strangers "I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance."
I was like that about our impending marriage: I was working at Social Services, and I told complete strangers in the elevator "I'm getting married on Friday!"
I'm like that about weight loss. I told the lady at the Jo-Ann's counter yesterday "I've lost 30 pounds! (32, but who's counting?) I told the poor boy at Gap who just wanted to sell me some shorts. I told the bank teller (to be fair, she at least knows me by name).
I've lost 32 lbs! Yay! Halfway there!
