Garden Project: May Update

That's a portion of my patio mess of a garden. I swear we're going to lay it out prettily one of these days.

From top left: Spaghetti Squash (in kitty litter pail), Roma Tomato (also in kitty litter pail), tomato (Another roma, I think), chilies, Anaheim (The tiny one in the middle) and jalepeno, habenero peppers (two together in a water bottle), and another Roma tomato.

This is so cool! This was a seed in mid-March, and now it's over a foot tall!

This month, I spent a lot of time moving things into bigger containers, which took a lot of dirt. I spent an additional $3.33 on potting soil (cheap potting soil; I won't go that cheap again) and bought two plants, not shown: a variegated sage and a lemon balm.

Everything is getting big, which makes me happy.

Guesstimating $1 of electricity spent on my grow lamp for each month, $5.00 on spent on seeds, $7.00 on plants and $14.56 on dirt, I've spent $29.56 so far. I'll have to take into account somehow that a portion of this will also support Eugene's garden.
