This weekend helped even things out more than a bit. I have antibiotics, which dealt with the miserable-horrible-sick. I took a walk in the rain, which gave me a long moment of happy.
Seriously. Saturday, with the air crisp but not unpleasant, the rain falling but not pounding, the colours clear and bright in the trees - that was what autumn is supposed to be like. Pumpkin pie and roasted pumpkin seeds, a warm dinner with a side of apple cider; that gave October a stay of execution.
Sunday gave it a pardon. Good friends, good roleplay, lots of hugs, lots of good autumnal food. I, despite being endlessly groggy, am in a far better mood today.
Good morning, everyone. Happy Autumn!
