Ooh, thanks! I've been thinking about growing herbs.
I don't have any outdoor dirt anymore since I moved in with S, so I brought most of my succulent garden indoors in pots.
S just planted a pot with a hops rhizome last night and I put in the window with the rest. Hopefully it will grow and eventually supplement his home-brewing :)
I've really been pleased with our herb-growing, though there have been some ups and downs.
Chives are amazingly easy.
The best thing though, was the first year we had an herb garden, and, at Thanksgiving, I got to walk outside and pick the herbs for our turkey! That was just .. neat. Joyful, even. Amazing.
That little click of, "Oh, so that's why these are thanksgiving herbs!..." wonderful.
