(no subject)
Dragon claims that I never remember the positive. In an attempt to remember the good while I'm having an up day, here is some positive stuff:
- I work at a place where I can not only wear jeans, I can wear shorts! And I mean shorts, not silly capri pants that make me look like someone forgot to lengthen my pants.
- When I am done here, after 11 months at DSS and 9 months at Stepping Stones, I will probably be able to handle a real professional job. Although I'll miss the jeans. After all, after coping with men hollering at each other at the top of their lungs, I think i can cope with men in suits and ties sneering at me. Or something.
- Dinner last night at the night before came out really well! Last night was Jambalaya with shrimp and polish sausage, and a side salad big enough to nearly be a dinner itself. mmmmmmm comfort food... with instant pudding topped with whipped creame and strawberries for dessert.
- I'm in a writing mood again. I think I'm finally going to start my "Onyx-Black" fanfic series, starting with Onyx-Black at Hogwart's
For those not in the know - everyone - Onyx-Black is a character I created back in high school, but never finished the carefully-written-in-pencil-on-notebook-paper novel I began. I still like the character, so I think I shall make her a witch and see what happens.
- Changeling Rocks! Especially now that we have our hearthstone back and it's not a puddle of jello anymore...
