Wish List thing
Stole this from Tara (hi, Tara), and I like it.
List three things you'd really like to unwrap this year.
1. sweaters. mmm... warm.
2. skirts.. long flowy things... okay, so i like clothes. a lot.
3. books i haven't read yet that will hold my attention. Fantasy, sci-fi
List three items (or themes of items) that you don't want to unwrap for whatever reason. Perhaps you just don't like them or perhaps you just don't need any more (ex: cow-themed statues, puzzles or socks).
1. knick-nack-bric-a-brac. I don't dust anyway.
2. blank books. I need to fill the thirteen I have anyway, although they're all beautiful.

Describe the three best gifts you've ever gotten (well, in the last 5 or so years) and why they were special to you.
1. Quilt my Aunt Carolyn made us for our wedding. Warm and fuzzy and beautiful
2. little silver ring and long-stemmed roses from Sam, birthday, when we were living on Averill. first "real" "romantic" gife he ever gave me - and this went with a book called "How not to be romantic"
3. sewing machine for graduation. but i picked that out.
