I was about to post something else, and then I went slipping through Fictionally.org - Harry Potter fanfic - as I tend to do when the latest book has not quite filled me (reminds me. Does anyone know of an Laurel K Hamilton fanfic page? The fans' writing can't be much worse than hers) - and I found this.

Warning, it has spoilers right through the end of Half-Blood Prince. I mostly like it, not as a fanfic, but simply for some of the words, some of the concepts portrayed in it.
