I signed up to teach two classes at pennsic
1. A two hour beginning spinning class. I am going to attempt to cover the spinning instruction, and then provide information on setting the yarn and plying....which is more than i have covered before.
2. Applied Spinning: or, "I can make pretty yarn, now what do I do with it?" -talking about how to spin for a specific project and providing suggestions for beginning spinners about some easy first projects to attempt.
A class on fiber preparation and sheep/fiber types might also be interesting, primarily because it will require me to do some more research and learning in order to teach it. Maybe i'll think about signing up for that one tomorrow. Then i'll be teaching the same number of classes as Alesone ::Grin::
I am also planning to teach all of these before war week begins. I was very annoyed with having to miss watching fencing champions last year because of annoying schedule changes. It will also give me something to do during peace week, as if setting up camp wasn't enough.
