Hello Hello....
Hello world! Remember me? It's been a while since I updated so I have decided to let the world in on what is going on in my life. Lets see... so I had an interview for a job at the Elementary school I went to. It went well, I was pretty confident that I had a kindergarten job for next year, when I got the bomb dropped on me that they decided to hire a more qualified candidate. How much more qualified can this new girl be than I am. The only thing I can think of is that she is a second year graduate, and they hired her over me because I am a new graduate. But still... I mean come on.... we have the same damn qualifications. Jerks! So, I am still in search of a position for next year. I should start hearing things mid-July because that is when teachers are told to put in whether or not they will be returning to the school for the new school year. This is the critical time for school systems to hire teachers because they know the exact amount of positions open as well as pretty good idea of how many students will be enrolled. SO... keep your fingers crossed and pray for me to get a job. I have worked my ass off to get to where I am. I spent six years in college, and worked full time for three and a half of them. I deserve to be rewarded with a job. I am going back to full time at Saturn for the summer doing a different job for the summer. I work 7-3 Monday - Friday. I might actually have a normal life over the summer!!!
I found out today that I really did graduate from Towson. That is exciting! LOL It would have sucked if some mysterious course came up that I didn't take and they told me HA! Just kidding, you have to come back for another semester. So I should receive my diploma in August. I have to send away to get my MD state certification too. Then I will be set. Someone just has to hire my ass! LOL
What else.... I went to get weight in today at Weight Watchers. I lost a whopping 5.8 lbs in a week. I had a bad week too. Between the not so good food and the alcohol consumption, I was shocked. I have lost a total of 60 lbs since January. That is incrediable when I see it in writing. Wow... I am proud of me. I went shopping today and bought shirts that I never ever would have thought I would A- fit into, and B- WEAR!!!! Two of them are semi-backless. I don't know why I bought them, I act as though I have some boys to impress or something. Christine is doing well too. She's lost all of her Taylor weight, and is very very close to being at her lifetime goal. I have thirty two pounds to go and I am there. I might change it depending on how I look. Some think I am "too skinny" and a "bean pole" as it is. (Just so you know, these people are on drugs, and I am not really skinny. I am no longer 'fat'. - but certainly not a bean pole) Speaking of Christine, we went to Cancun Cantina last night because I won free passes to see Big and Rich at a private party. It was awesome. They opened with an acoustic version of "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy. Good times, good times! Here is a fantastical picture that we took while driving.... haha!
