Today something rather od happened. Berlin has a very extended underground nt , called the 'U-bahn" (german for subway, underground, tube, whatever) and some are always full and bustling with people of about 20 nations. Today , it was silent there. Not empty, the wagon was pretty full, but silent.
I tell you, this was freaking creepy.
