Lovesick seals

I've had a very Wellesley weekend - it's rare that I'm on campus this much, and for once it's been nice. Spring week has been full of chola and ex-roomie love.

Yesterday morning I dashed out last minute to go hoop rolling. Ended up in the back of the line, and actually moved up quite far, considering my lack of coordination and cheating. Took pictures with both Kit and Katie and my cholas. That evening was the fashion show. Which went well, despite the makeup lady from hell, who criticized my skin and unplucked eyebrows. Whatever. I deem myself model-worthy simply because I didn't trip and fall on my face and my skirt didn't blow up so that I flashed the audience like I did in dress rehearsal. Afterwards, I remembered that the Widows had their last concert, so I went to that, taking a break while their guests were singing to find the CL girls on Severance Green. I got humped by two very vocal lovesick seals (a.k.a. Mary and Cat) and then dashed back to the chapel for the tail end of Katie's solo. She was lovely, and also did an awesome job as Scuttle in "Kiss the Girl," which was friggin' adorable. I got all teary about it being Katie's last concert. First time I've really gotten sentimental about leaving Wellesley, and the gloom hasn't cleared yet.

Went to the Shakes play today with Julia. It was really good - Hartley should be deemed queen of angst. And mad props to Kit for directing it. It was good to have a chance to talk to her as well. I've missed my old roomies recently. Blah to this sentimental Swellesley shit.

Anyway, nap time now...maybe I'll go back to rewatching QAF season 3, now that I got all my correcting done.
