(no subject)
So it's been awhile...
Again, the attack of the stupid computer... keeping me from being an lj user temporarily. I also disconnected my high speed when I moved, so I've been completely away from the internet for several weeks now. My computer at work finally went completely kaput however (the motherboard was fried), so now I should be back for a good long while, as they replaced my computer this time instead of doing a temporary fix. Yay!
highlights of the past month:
-I'm loving my new living situation! I'm all moved and everything is mostly settled. I love my new roommate and the new drive to work (5 minutes...can't beat that!!). My old place still hasn't rented out, but I have a little time before I'll start to panic. And I hired a property manager, so I'm not the one who has to deal with all the details...
-Things with the boy are going very nicely :-). He's a sweetie. We've been going on lots of double dates/triple dates... which is a lot of fun. He's easygoing and a good sport.
-Small group is going well... but at the end of September, we are going to stop leading... we need new leaders for our group or it will disband. We (my co-leader and I) just need a break for awhile...
-Work is still ok. I also still don't know what I want to do with my life, but I think I need a raise.
-I played tennis on Saturday for the first time since I was in high school. I really would love to learn how to play well. It was fun.
That's about it for the moment... but I'm back again... hopefully for an extended period of time this time. :-)
