Painting and what not.
Looking for a new appartment. This one, I swear to the GODS of jelly will have windows! And higher ceilings than what i've got now. Because it's darn difficult to paint on a big canvas when you're hunkered down infront of it because you can't position it upright. Oh well there's always la mouche in the ointment. I just thought i'd update with a short post while my painting dried.
Okay here's a little anicdote from February.
I was sitting in my contemporary issues of art class and the prof was discussing modernism. He says "Modernism steps away from the figure, it stepsa way from beauty. What is beauty? What is beautiful?"
So ofcourse, I raise my hand and say "Me!". The class thought it was damn hilarious.
A lot of crap has been going on that's kept me busy. Work, siblings getting biopsies, my grandmothers dog dying, my Didi, amongst other things, there's also been the wedding. Honestly it's been one thing after the other. On top of all this i'm appartment hunting. lol
Anyway, I must hie myself back to work. Brilliant art doesn't simply produce itself!
