Oh Hell to the No. You pay rent, your room is yours. She doesn't get to dictate what goes in it. No way no how. Of course having a major argument with your roomate is no fun either but you have to draw the line some place. That's your private domain. She doesn't get to rumage through your space any more than she can dictate what furniture you have in your space. Wait, she's not rumaging through your stuff when you go out is she? Have you sever seen Single White Female? Ha. Wait, don't watch that. She's a controling loon. I mean, I really hope you work out your differences and we don't see a news report about a chair being chucked out a window whilst someone was still sitting in it.
Glad to see you are settling into London so well. Hope you find a little corner of calm somewhere between the weird work place and weird home arrangements.
I'm glad you're backing me up on this because otherwise I'd wonder if I was being unreasonable - she makes it seem so normal that her chair should be in my room! Crazy. And yes, I have come to realise in the last week she is weirdly territorial and controlling about the space in this flat. I have not seen Single White Female - is it about crazy housemates?
I am still looking for my corner of calm. At work I sometimes I find it in the library and my room is quite nice so they will suffice for now. How have you been? I feel out of the loop!
Yes, it's about crazy roomates. It's an old movie from 1992. You probably shouldn't watch it if you want to be able to sleep without a lock on your door and a bat in hand. Ahaha.
Calm is a very precious spot to find in life. When work gets crazy sometimes we wander around in the archives in the basement for a little peace and quiet for a few minutes. I can totally understand. Fortunately I have a space to call my own. Maybe that's a suggestion you should give the school. I come from a family of teachers and everyone needs their little corner to call their own to organize lesson plans or grade papers or just to chill. They should try and give everyone their own little space, even a personal locker is helpful as a place for the teacher to store some personal items.
Hmm... what am I reading. Good question. I keep up with the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs and the related series around it. It's shape shifters and werewolves and lots of other magical creatures in modern day society. I think I've mentioned it before. She

Ah, yes, I have given up hope on the Ivy/Rachel thing because YES Rachel is annoying and she keeps totally breaking Ivy in so many ways. Guess I'll heed your advice then and move on to something else. Glad I'm not the only one who finds that relationship and series disappointing.
I did know Lucy Lawless was going to be on there but had forgotten. Don't know a lot about who she is playing. I'm looking forward to it. She was on Battlestar for a while but she didn't last long. Hopefully she will fit in well with the crew on SHIELD.
Glad you found a way to proxy so you can use Netflix.
