YEAH! they're only starlings, but i knew someone would dig them as much as i did. those rhinos we saw on the way out of the park were a big stunner for me.
what you picture about the flowers is accurate. *nods*
yes, that pano is GW. i wish it had been less hazy, but i'm glad you liked it anyhow. & i'm touched that one of my photos made it into your rotation. :)
so, technically you can't call something pâté if it's not liver, but i don't know how well ZEBRA MURDERERS would comply with dietary code. soooo... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i don't remember if the driver said he couldn't write in the language, or if he couldn't explain how to write it in english.

Aw, well - the GW picture is going into rotation, too. It's just ....magical.
I actually have another African landscape in rotation already, of the Singathi (Rift) Valley. Similar to this: http://www.maloti-drakensberg.co.za/treasure/amangwane/images/view-from-ledgers-cave.jpg
Zebra Murderers!! Heeee. I suppose i shouldn't laugh, but.... I did. :D
The starlings are AMAZING. Omg. I could wish for flocks of them everywhere, they're just so gorgeous.

(it's okay, i laughed too.)
there WERE flocks everywhere! they were as common there as crows are here. i wish they'd fly this way; brighten up the place a bit.
