Call for articles for feminist 'Zine in Jerusalem
Hi Everyone!
Jerusalemite feminist fanzine, Fallopian Falafel (Eshet Chayil), issue 10 is now open for submissions. (For more info about the publication, visit www.fallopianfalafel.com)
This issue of FF Zine will focus on a more serious topic - rape and sexual violence.
I've sent this call for submission several times (I apologize of some of you received it more than once), but got hardly any responses. So any submission, however long or short, will help!
Submissions can be articles, stories, poems, artwork, fiction stories or actual accounts, political pieces, op-eds, and more.
Topics can include:
- sexual, verbal, emotional abuse
- harassment
- incest
- societal and cultural issues
- religious views on rape (eg. The story of Dina in the Torah, or honor killings in Islamic states, etc.)
- self defense tips
- empowerment groups, organizations
- Sexual violence within the GLBT society
Plus, if anybody can volunteer to write a story about The Gits' lead singer Mia Zapata's life and death, as well as about "Home Alive" it would be much appreciated.

Submissions are entirely voluntary but contributors who will be featured in the issue will receive a free copy by mail.
