I caved..... Spent the majority of yesterday rereading book 6. And B&N has already shipped my book 7 copy. Yippee!!! Bad news is that I've gotten absolutely no sewing done on the forepart in the last two days, and it's of course getting down to crunch time. Most of my pre-Pennsic to-do list is done, but that forepart is still a major chunk. I think I'm going to put just it and the matching sleeves on display at A&S, then wear them at Court on Wednesday. Provided, of course, that I get it done. Need to revamp the documentation for it too. Gotta find that.....
Not much else going on. Mom's flying in on Tuesday to be with me for the surgery next week. I'm hoping to have the packing done before then. We'll probably drive to PA Friday or Saturday, then I'll be up at War at the latest by the following Tuesday during Peace Week. And then..... nothing but fun, friends, classes, hammocks, Woodchuck Cider, and fighting. No phones, no emails, no TVs, no computers. SUCH SWEET BLISS!!!!! I think that's probably the part of Pennsic that I like the most. Walking away from the majority of the modern world for awhile. I'm looking forward to it.
