Family Crap
So, the lesson of the day is; if you have a grandchild and the mother decides to cut you out of the child's life because she is afraid you will do something about her drug habit - if you don't file for custody right away then five years later when said child is taken away from her - you will have ZERO rights or recourse because you have had no relationship with the child for the last twelve months. ie. If you think your grandchild is being neglected - don't hope for the best - file for custody NOW - because when the damage the child has incurred from said neglect has become apparent - it will be too late.
