The Ankle Saga
So, I'm scheduled for ankle surgery for Friday. I have a bad feeling about the whole thing. Sure, it may take away some pain that I have now. But it will HURT. I won't be able to walk on it at all for two weeks and then a month after that I'm still in a cast. I just am having difficulty seeing the pros here. I suppose the ankle just doesn't hurt enough to make it hurt worse. Am I being silly? Shall I suck it up? Shall I run screaming away from such horrors? :) Who knows. Certainly not me.
