Chicago, Kitties, and Zombies
I just came back from visiting my sister in Chicago. It was nice and relaxing... and insanely cold o_O New York is pretty tropical in comparison.
Though apparently it only decided to drop when it knew I was comng -_-
As a result, we mostly stayed indoors but that's pretty much my ideal vacation after stressing out so much at work. Saw a bunch of movies- Ocean's Thirteen, La Moustache, Shortbus, Little Children, The Believer
Most are which a little disturbing now that I think of it .-.
We also saw Persepolis at the theater there, which was really really good. It was really sad too, about a girl who grew up in Iran. But the animation was really interesting. It was mostly black and white since a majority of the story took place in the past. It shows how modern animation doesn't have to be all 3-D and about special effects to be good.
We did get to go to the Museum of Science and Industry which was pretty cool except for the hundreds of screaming sweaty little kids running amok.
Mostly hung out in her apt with her cute little kitty Beasley. Who is adorable but a bit of a troublemaker since he's still pretty young (at least we hope that's why) and has a thing for feet. Biting mostly.

Not really, though I am afraid of anything that comes in swarms ;_;
If everyone around you were to start turning into zombies, what would you do? (i.e. Stay at home? Run away? Etc.)
Call my friends (who I think would be awesome in a zombie war) and lock up in my house since all the windows on the first floor has bars on them *_*
Based on where you live, would you be royally fucked? (i.e. You are surrounded you poor thing.)
Yep, pretty much. I live in a pretty dense urban area...
Do you have any weapons in your home, or anything that can be used as weapons? (anything at all, the more creative, the better.)
I have lots of kitchen knives and bats, some rope and a vicious dog?
In a pinch, there are a lot of mirrors I could break and use as blades. Turn them into spears or something of the sort. I could probably set up some fun traps with all the little holes in my house and drop the tremendous amount of junk I own on them.
We also own a lot of candles, could probably figure out some way to torch them.
If so, what would you do with them?
