(no subject)
So, its coming on 5 am... not so unusual to be up this early, except that I've been awake since about 3:30 and can't go back to sleep. I laid in bed for about an hour and a half and finally got up. I don't work today. We randomly took a vacation day. No particular reason... just nice to have a day off work sometimes.
Speaking of work, things aren't too bad at all. Got put on a special project and get to see some different aspects of the company. Still at Verizon Wireless. I am pretty sure I am going to apply for trainer though. Would be a nice change.
Might actually snow here later today. Though it was supposed to already, but it is just cold and windy. They are even saying we could get between 4 and 8 inches of snow. I'll believe it when I see it.
Things are great on the home front. Gen and I are doing great. I know I tend to always randoming come along and say it, but only cause its true. We are approaching 4 years together, and sometimes I just can't believe how much I love her. Like this morning, while I was lying there, not being able to sleep, she rolled over in her sleep and reached for me, and started caressing my side. She was still sound asleep, I could tell by her breathing, but there she was touching me... almost comforting me. It made me tear up a little... ;) I am just so happy with her and our life.
Anyway.. I guess this is my quarterly update for those of you who even bother to read what I write anymore (thank you to those of you who do by the way).. I always say I will write more, but sometimes I just forget.
I am getting a little sleepy. Good thing I get to sleep in today, or I would just still be lying in bed waiting for the alarm to go off...
