The imps are about to lock up
Given the new LJ TOS I just had to accept -- and that I refuse to use Dreamwidth for other, more personal reasons -- I will simply stop using these services altogether, effective immediately. I'll probably close this account down in the next month or so.
For my own blogging going forward, I'll be using my website, lisefrac.net, as I have also been for the last coupla years. If you use an RSS reader, please go ahead and add it. Otherwise I share all the posts I make on Facebook, on Twitter, and on G+ for your reading pleasure.
For my ~15 years of past LJ entries, I just ponied up $30 and exported them using BlogBooker. It made me a nice 4,090 page PDF. Maybe I'll republish some of these as blog posts. Maybe the past is boring.
For reading others' posts... well, unless you share it to FB/Twitter/GPlus, I am unlikely to read it. To be fair, so few of you actually *use* LJ any more, and my biggest "power user" friends already share to social media, so I think this is fine.
