For toner cartridges, have you ever tried Supply Guys? They have a website. Good prices and a huge selection of toners. (Though definitely I understand the need for printer upgrades.)

I'd never heard of them before--thanks for the tip. Although I think part of the problem is having to order toner cartridges online, as they are not exactly cheap to ship, and we often can't afford to wait a week to get them.

If you catch this place when they have specials, if you order bundles, or if they have specials for your printer, then the cost is reasonable. And usually fairly quick.

I've ordered knock-off toners from them for many years and they're inexpensive and I've never had any trouble with them. Work great in my printer. Good quality.

And they work just like the "real" thing, too. I have an HP color printer (that's a number of years old now) and can buy my knock-off cartridges in bundles that save me a mint!
