Day 1 of staycation
I am back from Shadows of Amun game 4, which means this is day one of my staycation. I will have a report about SoA, but for the moment, let me emote:
I have begun on my first intended project of the staycation, which is organizing my files. This mostly involves throwing out a lot of things I've been holding onto for too long--credit card statements, old pay stubs, car maintenance receipts for cars we no longer own, etc.
And lo and behold, anxiety anxiety anxiety, because that process of deciding what to keep and what to get rid of is always hard for me, even when it's not emotional/nostalgia stuff. There's something about the fuzzy logic of it that is taxing and draining and ugh.
Bleh. This entry got longer and more pointless and maudlin, but forget that. The main point is: never underestimate how much mental energy this stuff takes.
