Gothic Consequences signups soon -- are you coming to Engerland with me?
The first round of game signups for Consequences G (November 21-24 at Naish Holiday Village in Christchurch, England) begins July 30th. The final schedule will be released this Wednesday.
Additionally, at the end of August I have to render payment for a lodge, which means I need to know what type of lodge I'm signing up for.
Remember how I told you you had some time to decide whether or not you wanted to come? Well, that time is drawing closed!
I actually just booked my airfare, and through the vagaries of airline pricing, the best option turned out to be a direct BOS-->LHR flight on Finnair operated by British Airways. (The cheaper Aer Lingus and Icelandair flights with connections all had ridiculous timetables--either very short or stupidly long layovers. Even so, it ended up being close to $900/person). I'll be arriving Wednesday the 20th at 7:30pm local time and staying in Guildford with friend and co-GM Brian W. (he's helping us run Cracks; we're helping him run Clockwork Cafe); Thursday we'll cross-check our games and then drive down to Naish, where games will start in the evening. I expect we'll head back to the London area on Monday with plenty of time to catch our 4:30pm flight back to the States.
So... who's coming with me? Right now I only have enough people for a 2bdr lodge, and that makes me sad :(
Incidentally, my first pick for game will probably be The Maid, the Pickpocket, the Assassin, and the Lover, a 6-hour LARP in the Amber-verse which got great reviews last year.
