Five Things - February 26th
In an effort to post more often, I'm going to (once again) attempt to post five things each day that interest me, enhance my life in some way, for which I am grateful, or which just plain make me happy.
So, here's today's:
1. Working Girl, an article by Kate Bolick about my favorite poet, Edna St. Vincent Millay. Is it vain of me to say that I see so many similarities between her and me? Well, I'll say it anyway.
There's also, I realize, a lot of Millay in the poet character I added to Cracks, Megarrion. No surprise there, either.
2. Matt and I have a date night tonight. We're likely going to see Warm Bodies, because nothing says geek love like a rom-com zombie movie.
3. Delightful feedback from my Cracks players for Intercon M - from juldea tweeting "Damn, Lise can write a character sheet!" to lightgamer IMing me to say "Can I just say, that I really love my Cracks character, and thank you very much for it" to excited emails from nomadmwe about what color to paint his nails ;)
4. queenortart is bringing me Cadbury Dairy Milk! And I didn't even have to ask.
5. In general, just very very excited for Intercon in general - games! panels! great roles! parties! a run of Cracks where something like 80% of the players know something about Dragaera!
