Today feels like it's off to a crappy start--bad weather, too many meetings, technical failures--so to combat that, I'm going to highlight five positive things, as cristovau is doing.

1) Matt and I got together with natbudin last night at Outback, which involved very geeky web developer talk.

2) I'm listening to the first book of Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn ( Read more... )

2. Mistborn is an awesome series. When you get to book two, push yourself through the first half. The first half of book two is long and superfluous. The auther felt he needed to basically explain (through memories) the entirity of book 1. Book 3 brings it all back together. I love the series! Lemme know what you think of it!

3. You should talk to Ian. He loves fencing too. You guys should get together and fence! He ran fencing clubs at college.

6. Have you gotten the E-mails about meeting at Bernie's tonight? gimme a call either way so we know if you are coming.

Three day weekends are awesome!

I did receive your emails, no worries. I'm reading the character sheets - I edited one, as you probably saw.

These lists are easy, short micro-blogging that can continue to capture snapshots of your life. Yeah, you might want to post a ten paragraph entry about X you did last weekend, but adding it to a 5 thing list means it will at least get mentioned.

Sometimes, I get more concerned with the Live- part and less the -Journal part. These lists tend to fall under the second pretty well.

And congrats on the fencing!
