As most of you know, this past weekend was Once Upon a Time in Tombstone, a weekend-long, Western-themed LARP, written by Team Brit, held in Maryland. And I was there! With

The run of Nexus I played in was the one that happened in 2006(?) at Brandeis. It would be my second weekend-long LARP, after TMA. This was the run where Foam Brain had planned to run Game of Empire, but hadn't managed to scrounge up enough players, and so decided to run something with a smaller player count--hence, Nexus. natbudin convinced Matt and me to play, although I really didn't want to make a whole weekend-long commitment (I was taking classes at the time and had homework to do), so I asked for a not-very-involved character. However, I neglected to realize that since Matt and I drove together, if he became heavily involved in the game--which he did--I couldn't leave.
As a result, I was cast as one of the Anton Myriad characters--you know, the group of time travelers from alternate realities with the same name. I think my whole character sheet was half a page. I had some weird cover identity, "Waxem the Wondrous," about which I had no information. I spent a lot of time in a locked room with the other Myriads (who I want to say were played by offside7 and neuromancerzss) trying to make sense of what had happened in our alternate realities and if it had fuck all to do with what we were doing in game. As it happened, I didn't end up caring.
On the plus side, it is the game where I met _dragonwolf_ and jh1230, so hey! Can't complain.
As for Masks--I played in the one at Brandeis in 2006 or 2007, can't remember--I was Mouse, and my single goal in the game was to get revenge on the Bounty Hunter (again offside7) for revealing me as a superhero. Nevermind that there was no means suggested, in my character sheet or in game, about how I would do that. All I remember is I spent a bunch of time in mouse form going through Corporal Punishment's underwear.
