Further adventures in gimpitude

Yesterday's experiment in going into work (as opposed to working from home) was an abject failure. My ankle is okay if I keep it elevated consistently, but sitting at a desk all day increases the swelling and pain quite a bit. I must remember that when I put on the fracture walker for the first time, I had been doing a lot of that, which probably influenced how uncomfortable it was.

So today I'm back at home, with my boss' blessing. She has been really sympathetic and supportive throughout this, although I do feel guilty about being out of the office so much. But it's hard to be productive at work when you're in pain.

In further news...
- I'm running LeverageCraft tomorrow night. I don't intend to stump down laurion's basement stairs, though.
- Just ordered the Romantic Era Blouse and Wyoming Ranch Skirt patterns from Buckaroo Bobbins for my Tombstone character. I am a little concerned about the measurements, especially on the blouse (I am chesty!) but I can always do a full bust adjustment on the pattern, if needed. I could also probably use the Gibson Girl blouse pattern (which I know fits me) as a base and just take the Romantic Era Blouse pattern's cues on detailing/decorating.
