hey all,
a quick hello before I do a bit of school work. I've been so unproductive today though, seriously. I met a potential roommate, and she was really nice, but we didn't have a lot in common, but some things. She's definitely someone I could be a friend with, but I'm not sure we will be roommates. she isn't really interested in having cable, and I'd probably have to give up my wireless internet. we did have some good fellowship tonight though talking about what it means to be single and follow God. really good. I saw her appartment, and we went downtown and ate at a cafe. by the way Sara, there is a pf chang's (if that's how you say it) down there. ;)
but I'm also talking to a girl who actually has done her bachelor's in germany....but she is looking to go to southwestern, so that's cool. I'm going to talk in depth with her tommorrow. she hasn't for sure been accepted yet, but is optimistic about it. she seems nice so far, I just want to try and decide soon, but need to pray about everything. Though there is part of me that really likes the other girl, there is a part of me that realizes that she may not be quite as down to earth as what I like. Her spirituality is wonderful, but it seems she might not understand me as much in some ways...it's hard to describe. she's very traditional, and I lean very much to conservatism, but I have some restrictions and exceptions to things.
I talked to walter tonight and talked to adonia. things are nice when I can talk to Adonia...seriously. we understand each other. I may kidnap her to Mississippi for a few days in late june.
