Hehe, last night was fun. I've never done anything to celebrate St. Patrick's Day before. It was Jason's birthday the 16th, so we celebrated both yesterday. Bennigans was having this massive outdoor blockparty so i met up with a bunch of people there. (I rode w/ Dan & Ashley, saw Jason, Al, Jen B, Jen S., Jeff, Mike, Tom, Dave, Erin, Derek, Darla, Sterling, Hannah (Mike), Brittany, Lana, & Lauren). We were supposed to meet Jason circa 9:30pm but didn't get there til about 10:30. It... was... PACKED!!!! Holy shit the insane amount of people that were there! We had to stalk someone to their car to get a parking spot at KFC next door- i felt like i was on campus trying to get a spot in one of the parking lots! Anywho, it was a good time. I actually drank beer for the first time. Coors Light. It seemed to agree with me, so mebbe i'll make more of an effort to try that since it's cheaper than liquor. We stayed 'til about 1am and then called it a night.
Spring Break was good too.
~ spent a day on Daytona Beach (and then 3 hours waiting for AAA to get there b/c Hannah locked his keys in his trunk!!! WTF- it's SPRING BREAK, it was BIKE WEEK, on a saturday night, and they only had ONE damn locksmith working. We were PISSSSSED....)
~ chilled w/ the Virginia Tech crew for 2 days on their way to & from South Beach. My favorite memory: Drunken Bob sending me a text message
HAHA...
Bob was really wasted one night and had been reading a particularly creepy book for the past couple days. He fell asleep in the hotel room's closet and thought the clothes were going to attack him! Cracked me up...
~ went w/ Jason to Sarasota and chilled at his parent's house for 3 days. LOTS of beach time, and being retarded with his family. His family is super cool. Too bad his brother is exceptionally HOT... hot and married! lol. But his wife is awesome- they're totally made for each other.
~ worked only 1 of the original 3 days i was supposed to, hehe. Went and ran errands, laid at the pool, & cut my hair instead. Glad to know where my priorities are, right?
~ saw LUDACRIS & CHINGY in concert. SOLD OUT SHOW. It was 3948574897 times better than i had expected it to be!!!! I wasn't even planning on going, but then did. And i don't regret it. There were 10 of us (my neighbors downstairs & Co.) and we had a blast.
~ and lastly went to West Palm Beach for the end to see my family and old friends there. Did my usual movie & chill w/ Erin, beach w/ Joe, breakfast w/ Jen Hoyos. And my momma even took me out to dinner the first night i was home :)
So now we're all up to speed on my fabulously exciting life (HA, *note* my sarcasm...) All i know is this was the best Spring Break i've had my entire college experience here, and i didn't have to shell out a ton of $$ to do it.
