Quick post - SEAF is kicking my ass and I have 2 hours to get ready for a long shift tonight.
I had my first bi-weekly blood draw yesterday and checked in with my doc. He was pleased that the MTX is helping so much, but concerned about the side effects. I told him that while they are annoying, the pain improvement is well worth it, and it's hard to tell right now how much is PMS and how much is MTX side effects. We decided to go ahead with the next step up and see how it goes. So, beginning on Mon, I'll do two weeks at 15 mg of MTX per week, splitting the dose into three doses of 5 mg each every 12 hours from Mon morning to Tues morning.
AT this point, I'm so ragged from SEAF that I'm not tracking side effects any more, as I can no longer tell what are side effects and what's just being worn out from working a show. Overall though, I'm doing ok. We'll see how I do on the bigger dose, and the doc will call if there's anything concerning in this week's blood draw. They do a CBC, comprehensive, liver enzymes, clotting factors, and some other random levels of stuff. Bonus: he was very pleased with the system of vitamin supplements that Rabbit put together for me. Thanks so much for taking care of me, sweetie! :)
