Jason has always looked forward to the day when Jaron would be old enough to help him with household projects. He always said that when Jaron was 12 or 13, they would refinish the attic together.
I never really appreciated what this would mean for me. Namely that I wouldn't have to be Jason's #2 on house projects anymore, because there would be a 12-years-old boy to do it instead!
So today, I have a new back door, Jaron has learned how to cut drywall and countersink nails, and I didn't even have to do anything!
