Fall trip home, part 2

On Mon. we went out to do some errands, one was stopping by Target and Walmart so Ben and I could buy some Indiana and Colts souvenirs for ourselves and for Ben's young niece and nephew (who asked for Colts attire). Afterwords we ate at Chik-Fil-A for lunch (not in Seattle) and headed over to both the Zionsville Country Market and Stuckey Farms. I wanted Ben to see how nuts Indiana is about pumpkins and harvest. We got a couple of gourds, which I left at my parents' house.

Later on I had Kristy come over so we could carve/paint pumpkins. My mom made a wonderful homestyle dinner, including steak, corn, and potatoes.

Also my dad and Ben both got some Colt's shirts.

I carved a Ninja Turtle

On Tues. we drove down to Metamora, IN, which is down in southeast Indiana. It's an old antique town that had a windmill and old shoppes. It's pretty there cuz it's very hilly in that part of the state, reminding Ben and I of Seattle.

On Wens. we had to say goodbye. It was a bit hard for me, as it always is.
All in all, it was a great trip and I was happy that my bf got to get to know my dysfunctional family a bit more, lol! But I was assured that my folks would come to visit me and Ben in Seattle around the holidays or possibly in Jan. or Feb. Hopefully that will happen. Otherwise my folks thought about coming for a visit in the summertime.
