Blue Angels
Well, it's that time of year again. It's Seafair! Or at least it will be this weekend. It's essentially a big summer festival they have every year in Seattle. They have a hydroplane race on Lake Washington, a marathon, fireworks and a concert, and the Blue Angels performing in an air show! As I speak, I hear the Blue Angels overhead circling around. They are apparently practicing, and what a beautiful day and beautiful city do to it over! Here's the link for more info: http://www.seafair.com/events/airshow/
I remember back in Indiana when I'd go to the Indy Air Show down at that old airfield off I-70, and it also was around this time of year also. Though according to their schedules website: http://www.blueangels.navy.mil/schedules.htm looks like they were in Indy already this year; back in June. The highlight was always the Blue Angels though, just cuz they were so damn good! Also just like when we'd go to the airshow, sometimes we wouldn't bother paying admission to get in but rather watch them for free from our parking spot. That's how it is where I live since I live near downtown Seattle. We can see 'em from our apartment! They are really loud flying overhead sometimes too, scared my poor cat!
