Guess I haven't written in a while. And sorry if I've been slow in reading/replying to all of your guys' journals. Sort of been in my own world for a min. Been going thru some changes since I've been out here, that's for sure. I'm not quite as mousy as I used to be, though I still have my shy moments. Gotten a chance to slowly but surely meet ( Read more... )

Hey there! I know we don't talk much, but we've been on the tmnt community for a while so I thought I'd say congrats on your move out west!

Woot, yay for another to include to the ranks of Washingtonians! (We need a shorter word.)

If you're ever in SW WA drop me a LJ line or something. DancingFae and I are both down here, and Cherubae is across the river. (and so's Leah-nardo when she's at home on leave)

Again, congrats!

Oh hey Fae! I remember you from TMNT-L. Remember Leah-nardo as well from NTML, and meeting her in person years back at San Diego con. Also Andrew mentioned he met you last year briefly on his trip down to Portland, I think it was. It would be awesome to have a fan meetup, esp. on this end of the coast. I outta run it by him, see what he thinks. But thanks for the congrats!

Yeah, Vancouver, WA was here first anyway ;) (it's funny how few people know of it since it's I think the 4th largest city in WA..it just doesn't seem that way because it's essentially a ginormous suberb of Portland).

And if you do, we can always show you da Gorge. Et's perdy. ;)

That's cool. My bf (as I probably already mentioned above) works at the Gorge as a stagehand in the summertime during their various summer concerts. He's been meaning to take me out there on a day he's not working, to a concert. But I'd go with whoever, ;) I remember it while passing thru there. I saw the lookoff spot and looked down the cavern.

Ooooh, he works at the Gorge Amphitheater! (I've never been, but I hear it has fantastic summer concerts) I've driven by it all the time, but never gone into it, mainly because it's halfway between here and my sister's place (a five hour drive, you just wanna get those OVER with..). Actually, the Gorge amphitheater isn't in the Gorge (don't worry, a lot of Washingtonians get it confused after living here their entire life ;) ). The Gorge is actually where the Columbia River cuts through the Cascade Range, drawing the majority of the border between WA & OR. Pic
Guess I should've referred to it as the Columbia River Gorge, but it's uber pretty, lots of hiking trails and waterfalls (a few dams, too, but who's counting).
