It was finally Wednesday and Lisa was feeling very excited. She had been looking forward to playing chess with Ron ever since they had made it a weekly routine. She left the ravenclaw common room with a noticable bounce in her step and quickly made her way over to gryffindor.
She decided against knocking on the portrait because for some reason she felt it was very rude to hit the woman's face, even if she was just a painting. Instead she chose to wait outside for someone to open the door because Ron knew she was coming over anyways. Smiling brightly she leaned against the wall and crossed her arms as she waited .
