Hmm. I didn't have a particular destination in mind. I thought I'd just browse different stores and maybe get a butterbeer afterwards. What do you think of that?
Yes. I'll be down in a minute or two. See you soon!

The 'minute or two' turned into 15 as she frantically attempted to fix her hair and redo her makeup. Nothing seemed perfect and she eventually gave up in disgust and hoped she would still look good. After one last glance over she hurried down to the common room and smiled widely when she saw Kyle.
"Hello," she said breathlessly. She couldn't stop the slight, nervous blush that was slowly spreading across her cheeks.
She flushed even more from his compliment and inwardly groaned. What is wrong with me? Blast it, I'm probably as bright as a tomato. She fumbled with the zipper of her pink track jacket before looking back at Kyle, and hoped that the pink on her cheeks had disappeared.
"You look great too," she said as her eyes quickly traveled over him. Returning her gaze to his face, she smiled and stepped closer. "You ready to go then?"
He noticed a little bit of color in her cheeks, but he paid no mind to it. "I'm ready," he smiled, nodding. He had his money in his pocket, and it jingled ever so slightly, every few steps.
"Excellent. Let's go," she said. She lightly hooked her arm through his and began walking towards the castle doors. "I'm glad you were willing to go with me. It really made my day."
Kyle hooked his arm back, unsure of what he was doing really. "It should be fun," he nodded in agreement. He felt a bit more secure in the fact that he had made her day. "Where do you want to go first?"
She stepped through the door and thanked him, her eyes sparkling. A gentleman was hard to come by these days. She pulled him a little closer and grinned.
"Do you like sweets? We could stop by Honeydukes first yeah?" she suggested and looked at him. "On the way we can talk about what's new with Kyle."
"You always seem to imply that you're life is boring," she said with a smile. She put her lips close to his ear and whispered, "but I find you very...fascinating."
She looked at him as they walked and flipped her annoying hair away from her face. "I should just cut it off," she muttered before directing her next statement towards him. "How's studying and prefect duties? Still as fun as ever?"
I'll go, if you've no other plans.

He was wearing what he usually did. A nice three-button polo shirt, and khaki pants.
