I'm afraid of Hsieh and his, like, death threats, so I'm reconsidering my Tumblr. :P
Here is my one and only post on my Tumblr, copy and pasted for Hsieh's LJ viewing pleasure (and for whoever else still uses LJ >>).
I was having a great day until some stuff brought me down, but as always, Alan decided to try to cheer me up. I told him not to come over, so he said he’d just prepare something and show me on Tokbox in 40 minutes. Eventually, I IMmed him and said:

Sure enough, a few minutes later, I get a phone call from him.
Me: Goddamn it, Alan, are you outside?
Alan: Well, I could be if you wanted me to be. But if you don’t want me to be, I won’t be there!
Me: …Damn it, Alan! I told you not to come over!
Alan: Who said I’m outside? You can check, though!
Me: *sigh* …okay.
I go outside, and he’s out there with steel wool on a string ready to be lit to cheer me up. How I managed to end up with such an amazing person like him I’ll never understand.
