Maybe if I don't write about it
I can pretend it isn’t really happening.
Tornadic Teen is not scary sick, but he is sick. Except for about three hours on Monday, he hasn’t been into school for two weeks. I keep thinking it isn’t really serious, but it is a bit scary. He is slightly nauseated all the time, and very much so at others. He has burning at the back of his throat which seems to be acid reflex. A medication for the reflex is helping the pain/discomfort by about 20%. When it is bad, he says going over speed bumps makes it worse. The whole thing came on so fast.
I don’t know what it is and my mind is playing the “bad things” recording.
Tornadic Teen is in good spirits. He does actually want to go back to school. He now knows not to open is eyes and look until he is told the blood draw is done. He had is first X-ray. We are both tired of going to the doctor’s office and the medical assistant asked if we just wanted to spend the night. His favorite TV show at the moment is “The Adam’s Family.” I so enjoy spending time with him, but not like this.
