Yesterday was not our best match.
That is a terrible understatement but it's still true. We were not at our best and it felt like we could never really get anything started on the Pitch. Julian was hu It just wasn't a good match and now this morning I'm really sore. I wish we could have won, but we didn't, so I suppose there isn't much to say about it.
Lance has seemed upset lately. He hasn't said anything and I don't want to pry because sometimes you don't want to talk about what's bothering you, but he's just seemed not himself. So after the match I gave him a big hug because I didn't know what else to do. I don't know what could be bothering him, but he's such a nice person. I have an idea of what it could be but if it's what I think it is then. Well, there's only one way that problem can be fixed and there isn't a good way to do it.
Lance has always been a good friend to me and I just want him to be happy with whatever it is that he's doing.
That's why I feel bad about asking him if he can not bring Maddie Frobisher to my wedding. We're inviting Maddie's older sister, but I really don't want very many people from Victor's family at my wedding. I don't think I need to explain the reasoning why.
I'm excited to be married. Everything has been planned except for the few things that can wait until the last moment. I'm nervous, but not in a bad way, I'm excited in a good way. I love Alastor and he's good to me, I just hope that I'm as good to him back.
I should ask Charissa if Palamon's cousin owled her about making his fiancée's robes. I hope he did, Charissa made mine and they are the most beautiful and lovely thing that I've ever owned. I cried when I first saw them finished, but I hope he owled her. I didn't know when he came over that you could inspect robes for that long but I guess you can. I just think that it would be a really good chance for Charissa.
I didn't sleep in very late this morning after yesterday's match, but I didn't sleep very well last night. The Wanderers played really well yesterday.
Everything for the wedding is going well. I think we're sending out the invitations in the next few days (maybe even today) since we finalized the guest list. Everything is in order and I have Janie and Charissa to thank for that. I'm excited to be married at the end of next month.
