I was just thinkin' (a few seconds ago, which is approximately how long it takes me to determine whether or not a random thought is worth making an entry about) that I've always maintained a very "Sure, whatever" mindset, even when I was little. Kinda funny..
(Whenever Beauty and the Beast came out.. that's how old I was when this took place. My mum and I were deciding on a movie to watch..)
Mom: Oh I know! Let's watch Beauty and the Beast! Oh you love that one!
Me (age 4? 5?): Yeah! .. sure I do. You look like you like it a lot more than I do..
(And then, a few years later, I was in my Kindergarten class in Miami.. already tuning out the voice of my teacher..)
Teacher: *saying something about homework; explaining what it is and whatnot*
Me: *doodling* Hm.. homework..? Whatever that is...
It is because of memories such as THESE that I DON'T give children the benefit of the doubt in being as retarded and naive as everything thinks they are. As "innocent". Little bastards..
