Took the girlfriend to see Wicked on Wednesday night, as she's a huge fan but hasn't seen this run yet. It was good, but that's to be expected with such a huge show, right? I feel like I have the same problem with massive stage shows as I have with comedy - I'm just hard to impress these days. Like, Wil Anderson was good this year. Of course he was, he should be. Wicked was good. It's a huge show, it should be good.
Have leaving drinks for a friend/colleague after work (bye, Matty V), then off to borrow Mum's car, then off to the ex-boyfriend's 50th. Don't plan to be there long, but want to show Dom the giant billiards tables and catch up with a few sword friends.
Tomorrow we're starting to move some of her stuff in / into storage. That's a big step. I hope we can make this work in some capacity.
I think the amount of money I'm putting aside for body corp and other house things is excessive, which is good. I'll try to put it towards the mortgage for a bit, but I really want to sort out saving for my trip to go and see the Vasa. Vaguely horrified to see that the interest charged on my home loan is only a bit less than the amount I'm repaying per month. This is bullshit. So am also putting more over to there. Miiiight get a little bit of money from the grandparents' estate, so I guess that'll go in there too. I just want to see significant progress towards paying it off, which of course isn't really a thing when you've only had a mortgage for 6 months...
