Bored / blah
Man, I just don't know what I want to do. I've been kind of blah for the past couple days, and just haven't got anything right now that I'm really looking forward to. Sam is planning on going to be the 'surprise' for his father's 70th birthday next month, but since it's basically going to be an in-and-out sort of trip, I'm going to stay home with the cats. Travelling is just tiring for me, and I'm sure I won't really be missed.
Been playing a bit of the Vanguard beta; I can say that now that it's open beta and the NDA has been lifted. I don't have much positive to say except that the world is pretty. Been waffling on getting it, I just don't think it is ready for prime time, and it's launching in about 3 weeks. They have a lot of fine tuning to do. And some 'goal' or 'cause' for the characters would be nice, other than grinding up to higher levels. So far, I'm just not seeing it.
Been doing well on the fifteen-minutes-a-day for cross stitch. Even last night when it was after 10 and I hadnt' stitched, I managed to get about a half hour in, and I can see some progress, yay! Just got to keep sticking with it. I've been sticking with the morning routine thing too, get up, weigh, feed the cats, get dressed, brush teeth, clean the litterboxes, make the bed... I know I can do it, I just need to stick with it and not get sidetracked.
Other than that, not much going on around here. Friends are having a get-together, sounds like next Sunday, and then Sam will have his trip the first weekend in February. Waiting for Wii Play and other fun game to come out. Just need to find something to catch my interest.
