I haven't been loving some of the shows this season. They all have their moments of Glee glory. Some glimmers. Is it just me or is Sue so totally over the top these days? I liked Sunday's episode but her storyline just seemed way too unbelievable. La La Landish.
But I digress. Because tonight's show was AWESOME, wasn't it? Loved every minute of it.
Not sure why I didn't post about it last May, but Sarah and I went to see the Glee concert at Radio City Music Hall with my sister and nieces.
I almost turned down the offer to go. Almost. I was so glad I went. Besides having fourth row seats, (Where I could take these pics on my cell phone!)
the show was amazing. Seriously. I've seen lots of these types of shows and this was so much fun and really well done. As I watched the cast on stage, I was thinking that they looked like they were having a blast the entire time. Really enjoying the moment. They were all VERY into it and giving 110%. As I was thinking it, my sister leaned over and said the same thing.
The night before we went, Sue Sylvester and Will actually made an appearance and joined in a song or two. Would have been fun to see. But they were part of the opening taped skit that ended with Vocal Adrenalin singers passing out barf bags courtesy of Sue herself who thought we'd vomit after hearing the kids sing. We didn't snag a bag but here's what it looked like:
Did you miss the concert? Good news! They announced another tour today with bigger venues. They'll be back in Jersey and Philadelphia. Both are so close but to Sarah's dismay, we're not going. I honestly loved it but is enough, you know?
If you're thinking of going or have a special Gleek in your life, get tickets! You'll be glad you did.
