I'm one of those that has a strange emotional attachment to books. Always have. Now that I write them...even more!

I think we'll always be book people but I do believe that libraries can't dwell on the fact that times have changed. Our town library was awful years ago. Besides the new building that's spacious and beautiful, I have seen our library becoming much more of a community gathering place. While books brings some in, it's the programming and high tech stuff that reels them in just as much-if not more. I loved this quote from the article ( ... )
