ps. i am trying to write an essay about my childhood paralleling my mom's tumor this past holiday season-- i feel i'm on the edge of something truly meaningful and raw and true, and i am really trying to stay focused. i know the first draft will be jumbled and not deep enough but i am determined to stick with this.
