june sunshine.
today i decided to go lay out on a flimsy plastic foldout chair at the gahanna ymca for several hours. this was an okay idea at first, even for a little while after. it was peaceful and i liked the background noise of kids jumping in the water and splashing around. i was all smiles in this miniature utopia. i'd jump in every 20 minutes or so to cool off, than lay back down on my chair, peruse harry potter, or just think. when i looked at my arms and legs outside, they seemed to be glowing in the sun. sweet, i thought. won't i be nicely tanned after this. yeah. sweet illusions. i stopped into the bathroom and noticed that my arms and legs and neck and cheeks were flushed in patches of red rash. sun poisoning. i waste no time.
and now, i itch. help.
