so, janelle and i have come up with a few email subject lines for YET ANOTHER message i'm sending to a prospective academic reference who seems to be ignoring me all together....and for a while now. they include:

what the hell is your deal?
why are you being an asshole?
do you hate me?
i'm gonna drive to kalamazoo just so i can slap you
...and you're gonna owe me gas money
i feel like maybe it falls apart a bit at the end there. no? yes? anyhow, i'm accepting any and all suggestions, criticisms, additions or subtractions, or your very own subject line pertaining to this current situation of mine that has just gone completely awry.
um, i really want to get into grad school. like now. and move to chicago.
